Best Super Bowl Prop Bets: Then And Now

It’s that time of the year, Super Bowl Prop Bets! Here at OWR we will make some bets, but let’s first take a look at a few of the best from last year.

Will Marshawn Lynch be fined during Super Bowl Media Day?

Well, this looked like easy money, but to everyone’s surprise there were no fines. Of course, Lynch did answer every question with “I’m just here so I won’t get fired” so there’s that, but no payout.

What color will Bill Belichick’s hoodie be?

You could pick grey or blue, he wore blue. Better odds for whether he would wear sleeves or have cut off sleeves. Sadly he went with sleeves.

What will Katy Perry wear for her halftime performance?

Choices were skirt/dress or pants/shorts/other. She wore a dress. No odds on whether mechanical animals would join her on stage. That’s where the real money was to be made.

How long will Idina Menzel’s anthem be?

The over/under was set at two minutes, 2.5 seconds. Menzel’s performance clocked in at two minutes and four seconds.

So what will be the more popular prop bets this year? Here’s a few I’m hoping for.

Number of times Peyton Manning yells “Omaha!”

Personally I like the under in case he gets injured. My assumption is he doesn’t yell “Omaha!” from the sidelines.

Number of Bronco receiver drops / Manning disappointing head shakes

Over / Under has to be at 5, right?

How long before Beyonce is on stage at halftime before everyone forgets Coldplay was/is also there?

Over Under has to be 1 second, right?
